Physics Lab

Physics is not only about formulas and theory – it is a way to understand what is going on around us. Why a ball bounces, how light works, or what keeps planets in the sky. Everything has a reason, and when we dive into it, we realize that physics can actually be fun and full of surprises. You can experience it firsthand here – visually, playfully, and without any boredom.

How it works?

The Physics Lab in SFÉRA is a place where physics is taught practically, interactively, and with curiosity. Through experiments, models, and exploration of the world around us, we make the laws of nature clear and engaging for both children and adults. From optics and waves, through energy and magnetic poles, to the microcosmos and the universeyou can truly experience physics up close.

What about the equipment?

  • Van de Graaff generator;
  • Thermal cameras;
  • Digital microscope with tablet;
  • High-speed camera;
  • CzechRad detectors (portable dosimeters with built-in GPS);
  • Electronic sensors: temperature, pressure, force, speed, conductivity, electric voltage, electric current, microphone, G-M tube, luxmeter;
  • Educational experimental kits (thermal phenomena, optical phenomena, solid-state statics, fluid statics, electricity, magnetism, sound, renewable energy sources).

All activities in the physics laboratory are always conducted in accordance with safety rules and under the professional supervision of experienced lecturers.
