How it works?
 
 
 
In the Biology Lab, we turn boring theory into hands-on experiments! We see the world through a new lens – optical and digital microscopes help us explore nature´s transformations, from bacteria and viruses to the largest and most complex organisms on Earth. We also look at current environmental issues such as microplastics, climate change, and water in the landscape. We uncover the secrets of photosynthesis, the very foundation of life on our planet.  
 
Are you curious about how and why nature works? Do you enjoy figuring out its laws? Do you care about our environment? Are you drawn to the endless journey of discovery? Then come and join us!

  • Microscopes – optical, digital, fluorescence- reveal what´s normally invisible to the naked eye.

  • Meta Quest 2 VR headset with human anatomy experiences.

  • CPR training tools – life-saving skills through play.

  • Themed models and kits for hands-on learning – no rote memorization needed.

All activities in the biology laboratory are always conducted in accordance with safety rules and under the professional supervision of experienced lecturers.

Do I need to book ahead? 
 
Yes. All reservations are made online – SCHOOL PROGRAMS, COURSES FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS, WEEKEND PROGRAMS 
 
Do I need to bring anything with me? 
 
No. All equipment is provided. All you need is curiosity and a passion for discovery. For special workshops, we will always let you know in advance if you need to bring anything.  
 
How much is it? 
 
Weekend programs from 160 CZK, school programs from 1200 CZK, courses vary based on type and length.   
 
How long is the program? 
 
School programs last 45–90 minutes, special interdisciplinary programs up to 180 minutes. Courses are 1–2 hours long. Weekend programs vary by type and topic, usually around 90 minutes. Open workshops follow their own unique rhythm.  
 
Do you offer any special workshops? 
 
Sure! Every month we run a themed program that takes over the entire SFÉRA.
